NGD but issues

Man, that blows. I wouldn't be happy buying that...and if it happened in shipping, which I agree likely occurred, I wouldn't be happy as a seller either. Which brings me to my question: When you say single boxed, do you mean there was no padding between the box and the epi case? Or was there some kind of padding between the 2? Because if it was the former, that's just asking for trouble in my book, and the seller should have known better.

There was wadded up paper and plastic bags making up the empty space in the box but the sides and bottom of the case were up against the single box with no extra padding. I actually was happy about the guitar having a case so it would likely be protected better during shipping. Oh, well, so much for that theory.

The bottom of the box not being padded is a problem. Actually it needed to be padded on both end cos ya never know which end is going down first. Even the sides could be a problem. Also, how it was fitted in the could have been an issue. Who knows, maybe this occurred from temperature change and was inevitable.
