After having delt with Jason at DCGL a number of times, I feel I can safely say that he's jacking the price up because he knows you want it.(JMHO) He told me a couple of years ago that he can often get models other dealers cannot because he is ESP's #1 US dealer and he orders a lot CS pieces for his shop. I heard the same line you did when I inquired about a Charvel CS piece on his site. He informed me that it had just sold a couple of days prior and that he had not had time to remove it from the site. When I inquired about ordering another the price was several hundred more. I passed.Comment

I hear ya. Rest assured that while I'm very committed to getting that guitar, it will NOT be at DCGL's jacked up price. Worse case scenario, I can get the same guitar custom made (without the banana head stock) from Matt's Music Center for 400- 500 dollars less than what the DCGL's closeout price was. My experience was that they had bold, red text up within 24 hours of the RS-II being sold indicating as much. The subsequent emails from them regarding ordering another one were that it would likely be more expensive as the last one went out at a closeout price. Sh*t, I ordered a CS Charvel Star with better options and paid about the same money. Maybe I oughta see if CS will make me one like the RS-II including the banana head stock. Boy, wouldn't THAT piss off Gibson!! LOL!!!Comment
