Ibanez Blazer, Roadstar, or Roadstar II ?
Which one? Why?
Thoughts..........
Models
The prudes may snub them, but I don't care.
I dont need furniture.
If its tough, shreds, and screams, Its all good.
If it gets jacked, I'll get another one.
And rock that sucker.
In order:
1. Roadster - Most unique of them, highest quality.
2. 1986 Roadstar IIs - 86s have the edge trem.
3. Roadstar, 85 and earlier Roadstar II, Blazers............
Whew!!! (wipes sweat from brow) This thread is about the Ibanez Blazer!
I had an old Roadstar...the model I had later became the 540R or 540 Radius model, which I believe was pretty much the inspiration for Satriani's sig model. It was a really cool guitar...had a really small, but heavy body, great neck and was overall a quality build IIRC.

Yeah I was about to tell him to go get a Bronco...
I liked those pre-Edge Pro locking trems Ibanez used to use. Sure they were bulky and clumsy but they were stable as hell when most locking Floyds and Kalhers of the era really weren't so much for me.
What are the neck carves like?
Radius, fret size, nut width, hardware?
Ive been wanting to try one out, but haven't run across any in my area.
Thanks to all for the info.
