  • 'Crown' Inlays

No I'm not talking about the MoP inlays we all know by that name, but a real graphic representation of a crown (something like This only more realistic)

I remember seeing a guitar with them (in gold) ages back, but can't for the life remember what it was (though I thought -ironically- that it was a Gibson flying V)

Anybody have any idea of a guitar these things were seen on?

Some Gibson SG's and acoustics have a sort-of-crown inlay but it's only on the head

Check the pic of the inlay at the 12th fret.

Well, that's a modern take on it

What I'm refering to resembles more the crown on the 2nd row right side

Bugs the hell out of me I can't remember the brand of guitar anymore
