Soo, the pics suck, but is this guitar one of the nicer Squires? I had an oooollld Squire at one time that was rear loaded, and it was every bit as good as a MIM Strat. Im not down with Fender/Squire stuff. I know the Stage Masters were rear loaded too, but they still rather sucked. Id like to have another rear loaded Strat again, but I dont want a junk one, but Im not familiar enough with Squire to know which ones are the good ones unless it was identical to the one I had before, which this one has a Vtrem where as the one I had previously had a Floyd.

no. the squire 2 stuff is shit. it is made in korea, but back when korea was making garbage. i had a squire 2 a long time ago and it was horrible. i couldn't give it away.

the mik squiers that have the diecast tuners are pretty good the ones with the vintage style tuners that have the dip in the knob are shit complete with the shittest feeling finish.

I have 2 Squier Stage Masters, one of which I got from Rich#6. They're both neck through and I put different pups in each one Blackouts in one and Alt8 and Jazz in the other I like them both. Spent some time setting them up and they work flawlessly. Just saying.

I didn't see the stage master part. Those are great as least the neck thru one I had was. I wish I hadn't sold mine, lol.

It plays some Slipknot and a little Nickelback now. It's going to be in my live line up for awhile.

I got a 2005 Squire 51 model I believe. You know? The one that is a Strat with Tele headstock. They weren't cool so I got the crappy puke yellow model and put an SD SH-6 and an SD Cool Rails in it, put a 3 way toggle and got rid of the coil tap and had it set up for .12 g strings. It's my drop C axe. It plays nothing but Murderdolls (Women and children Last) and anything Slipknot. Now I see Fender has the same guitar in the Pawn Shop series. One of the best guitars I own. It will have to do until the Jordison Warlock comes out. By the way.......long time no post. Some of you older members remember me. Good ol SARJ. I'll try to get on more.

I want to get one of the '51s (the Squier version, obv) and tinker with it.

I'll tell ya what, after I tinkered with mine it turned into my go to axe. I want to buy some of that granite paint and pull the pick guard and paint it. the pick guard doesn't cover any channels or routes so it will work fine.
