  • Chandler Necks on a vintage jackson?

How do they compare? Came across 2 on the bay and snagged them both for a reasonable price or at least what I thought was fair.

I am debating on having the reverse head one redone when it gets here with a blank ebony board and a Jackson logo to mate up with a really cool project body I have now.

Snagged a maple boarded one as well just for good measure.

Are these junk, did I just buy mightymite's culls lol?

    Let me know

Dont know about the necks, but a friend of mine had a toothpasty Charvel neck on a Chandler archtop body, it was a great playing and looking guitar.

Chandler necks and bodies are top-notch. I've got two Chandler Strat copies (made before Fender finally clamped down with a cease-and-desist) and they're the best guitars I own. They're even better than some of the Fender offerings.

I have built a few Chandler parts guitars and they are quality products.

Agreed with the feedback so far. I have a pointy chandler neck that is high quality (much better than mighty mite imo) with nice fretwork although it's not as comfy as an 80's Charvel/Jackson profile.

I have a Chandler neck on my home build. It's a 22-fret pointy headstock. Very nice neck. It seems a tad thicker than the Charvel Model series neck, but still very comfy and playable. Of course I got this neck in late '88/early '89, so I can't comment on newer ones.

They haven't made the c/j (or strat) stuff in eons. Chandler bodies and necks are fantastic. Enjoy them for what they are though; putting fake logos on stuff is lame.

I only considered logoing it for myself, it wasnt for scamming etc. I got a pencil sketch body and just cannot find a fitting neck for this thing, as it stands when it gets here im just gonna get the neck on and play the MOFO lol

                Thanks for the input guys
