Couple of years back there were a couple of JCF members that owned Gibson Les Paul Custom Lite's (with locking trem). I remember seeing pics of a black one and one painted in sunburst. If anyone owns one of these, could you please post pictures of the guitar?

Oh man, the name "LP Custom Lite" suddenly brought back some memories I long forgot! I remember many years ago when I was in the market for a Les Paul, the LP Custom Lite was a strong contender! I have no idea why I never got one, and ended up getting an LPC made by ESP/Edwards instead. I can't remember why I wanted one either... I'm trying to recall some vague memory about it having a thinner body or somehow being more minimalistic than the normal LPC which would have totally appealed to me back then.

It's thinner and no binding on the back (which is pointy and kind of annoying anyway). I never knew they made one with a trem, all the ones I've seen are TOM/STP.
Personally I'd probably grab an Axcess since it has that nice heel, and is probably not much more than the Custom Lite due to rarity. Gibson resale values are good, especially for rare stuff that isn't dumb.
I swear I just saw a Custom Lite for about $2500 on Ebay recently... It was a TOM/STP though.
