  • FACTORY Gibson Explorer with Floyd Rose!

What would you pay for this? Anyone seen one? Factory Floyd, mahogany body, ebony board, set in neck, mop Gibson logo on headstock, looks killer!

Not a fan of short-scale guitars, but that's just about one of the coolest Gibbys that I've seen offered by them in years. If you do the big zoom picture, though, the bridge is a cheaper FR Special. Not even the (much better) Korean OFR. Nonetheless, a modest swap out for a real Original Floyd and a good deal.

I am not a gibson fan by any means, but at least they got the color scheme right: White and Chrome.

I wonder if that has the illegally imported wood on that fretboard?

I seen those on their website when I was reading about them getting "busted with wood". Lol

They look pretty nice and its about time they realize what they have with that body style and put appropriate parts on it for us metal guys.

Yeah, and that's what MF is selling these for, with hardshell case and free shipping after their 15% promotional discount. There's one left in stock, fellows!

              Sweetwater has them... For $1389.

Good to see them doing this, though. The Explorer is kind of neglected in their product line.

Rofl! Although Brendon small does use a wah pedal and tries to make it sound like a tremolo.

Put binding and inlays besides cheap dots, plus paint the head to match the body, and I'd get one in a nanosecond.

They brought back the Explorer Pro too, way cool for a Gibson, though it looks like a Dean.

You talking about that Explorer Traditional Pro GC exclusive?

Personally I'd like to see the Robot Explorer in a de-robot'ed model, with a few more colors.
