DonP this one has a Martin Six String pot kit with West USA military grade caps from the 60's
This guitar rocks is all I can say.Duncan Alnico pro II pick ups,Tone pros locking bridge, switchkraft 3-way and jack.
My friend Bob Davenport(Davenport custom guitars) did the paint work.Killer finish IMO.Really? well screw Mark Twain.

I would have hated to have a perfect mint finish on a 52 year old guitar. To each his own I guess.
Toe its 50's Gibson gold top gold with amber tint.Should green up nicely in a few years.
I understand not everybody digs the relic thing and thats OK it is what it is.Just glad to be able to play it and enjoy it.Really? well screw Mark Twain.

Its legit alright so why not make the paint fit the part.Deff better to have an aged finish on an old guitar than a mint finish.
The face of the headstock is original we left that is is.
The truss rod cover is worth what I paid for it in the shape it was in.Refin wasn't cheap but I guarantee I'll make a few dollars on this one.
