Yes, the balance on an SG is fucking annoying. Great guitars though.

Whilst I found myself nodding along to your post mark, I have to say that a Bareknuckle armed Jackson soloist is the first thing I'd take into a studio to record. But we all have different needs and ways and means which makes it all so damned intriguing I suppose.

depends on the session and the producer, really. i do a lot of "pop" sessions (pop, rock, country, alternative) working with singer-songwriters. but you are right, we do all have different needs....
