...so i was pawn shopping yesterday looking for a decent used road bike. after about my third shop, i saw this beauty hanging in the store. i got SO excited. my wife has been wanting me to get one of these but they are a bit overpriced on ebay. i nabbed this sucker for $90 with a hardcase. i put a gibson 500T pickups in it, gave it a pink knob and took it to practice yesterday afternoon. it plays great for an indonesian squier. the frets feel good, the action is awesome....anyway, here are the pics:

I paid around $160 for mine IIRC. I put a P-RAILS hot in it, which cost about as much as the guitar hehe. I also threw on schaller straplocks and sperzel tuners. It's my C standard guitar. I've played worse guitars that cost more money, thats for sure. You get awesome audience reactions from women if you gig with it too.

did you have to modify the pickguard for the p-rail? i was gonna pop a white emg 85 in there but it was too square for the cutout...
oh, ron...i purposely didn't show the squier 70's headstock. it's not you are missing anything!!GEAR:

I actually contemplated an Invader or one of the new X series EMG's but part of the reason I bought the guitar was a platform to try out the SHPR2. I'm glad I did. 1 pickup and a 3 way switch for tapping options gives such a wide array of different tones from the guitar.GTWGITS! - RacerX
