That body shape looks oddly familiar. I remember seeing a guitar advertised as a Jackson on eBay months ago with a similar body.

      EDIT:

The first Schon's were made by Jackson.

Kinda looks like someone farted into a balloon. To each his own I guess. I'm really starting to come around to their new headstock though.

                      Supermongoloid fugly to the max.

The neck is sweet but the body should be annihilated by lasers.
In fact a team of time marines should go back and erase it from memory.

If nothing else, it's cool that you can get a custom made guitar like this and spec out the body and fingerboard woods, neck profile, electronics, etc. at, what I imagine, is a pretty reasonable price. I doubt the Jackson custom shop would build one due to the "artist replica" issue. And I don't blame the buyer for not dealing with Ed Roman who had 50+ Schon blanks hanging in his shop when I was there a couple years ago.

I realize the Schon body shape isn't for everyone, but if the buyer likes it, then good for him. Enjoy it. No need for the group to piss all over it. Besides, there's a large group of traditional guitar players out there that probably roll their eyes at the site of a Jackson, Charvel, BC Rich, etc. because it's not a 50's Fender strat or some Martin acoustic. Everyone has different tastes, that's why they have menus at restaurants.

I don't think Schon even plays Schons anymore......was just using a floyded PRS recently I think.
