Thank You Ward and Trussrod! I'll keep you guys updated with the lastest events. Lets just say I have some sinister plans for a "special tribute" headstock decal. It's something that secretly has frustrated me with the traditional Charvel decal. For all I know I have never seen this or has ever been done?!

As you have probably notice by now, I'm a stickler for the small details.....

Thanks,RobRR! There's was no way I was going to let you down... that was in the Iron Maiden playlist as well!

Go for it! Seriously, if I can pull this out my hat, you should have no problems.

I'm so inspired by this project , I just thought of another idea..... And it would be a perfect theme to match up with Maiden's "Powerslave"! ....hmmm... think egyptian now....

Got me thinking about a pic of two pirate ships fighting it out or a banged up ghost pirate ship in choppy waters.
        Really? well screw Mark Twain.

Those would be some great visuals right their. Especially the ghost pirate ship! Torn, shredded sails, with cracks and big gashes in its hull. Dangling support ropes from the sails, blowing in the wind....on and on...

Reminds me of the "original" John Carpenter film " The Fog" not the newer one that they disgraced what I thought was a original movie and great story. Especially the opening scenes when the "Elizibeth Dane" anchors next to its first victims... I'll have to watch that one again for this Halloween weekend.

jcm800x and sixx_gunner, that means alot! I really appreciated the complements guys!

It was one thing to draw on paper, scrapes and a mouse trap , But when I slid the guitar body over your nerves kinda kick in. Your like here's the guitar body now that your gonna start drawing all over?!? Don't screw up!! Have to admit my hands were shaking at first! But, I kept reminding myself that if I screwed up, I could just paint the body a solid color and start over....

Looks great, but you should get rid of the apostrophes... It should be seas, not sea's.

that looks awesome, those pens are rapidographs. I've got a nice expensive set of them from back when i did graphics. I dont know what ink yours came filled with or if you fill them yourself, like mine, but i would test what ever you use to seal it on a small section.

You drew all of that freehand? It looks very nice.

Dan Lawrence did the artwork on the Charvel, Jackson, & Thorn guitars with this design.

I like it. I have been tossing around the idea of having Dan do something for me in this style with a flat/low-gloss white background. I was thinking something along the lines of a giant squid attacking one of those old ships.

                              Release the Kraken!
