  • NGD Washburn KC-40V

Crackle green, H/S/S, volume, tone, 5 way switch, Washburn 600S full floater.
I ripped out the 2 singles, the 5 way switch, the tone control and installed a good quality 500K volume control, a Gibson 500T humbucker and I fully blocked the trem.
I think this guitar is from the early 90's. Anyway... plays like a dream, sounds great.
Threw strap locks on it and its going to the gig tomorrow night. I love beater guitars.
Bringing 2 Washburns. A beat to crap Nuno Bettencourt N2 (1st year) and this KC-40V
Thanks to lhrocker for the 500T and to Coloradoman for the guitar. Came in a box and I threw it together in about an hour. Went together with no issues at all.

Congrats, those are cool guitars. A Washburn KC-60V was my first guitar and what I learned on. Thankfully, I still have it and still play it from time to time. It's snow white, H/S, 3 way, coil tap on the bridge humbucker, and a non-recessed Floyd with a pull-back rout....love that combo. I used to search for those on Ebay, but haven't for a long time. I don't think I've *ever* seen another KC-60V in person.

        Anyway, enjoy that guitar!
