  • Looking for the year of a focus 1000????

    Hey Guys anyone know possibly what year a Focus would be with 10924 on the plate? Looks to me like it's a early one? Im thinking maybe early to mid 80's? Any help would be great....Thanks!

        I'm not very up with Kramers, but I did own an early focus 1000 and that was in 1986. I don't think they had them much earlier than that. The headstock shape and logo style will really help narrow it down and that changed almost yearly through production. Beak to hockey stick to pointy hockey stick to descending font pointy hockey stick.

          Early ones had the non tilt hockey stick headstock.
          Later they had the non tilt pointy headstock.

                I had a black one with the non tilt pointy, but 'Focus 1000' was written after the logo. I want to say I bought it around '85, maybe '86, if that helps.

                      I have that exact same guitar hanging on the wall as I type this, except mine has a DiMarzio Double Whammy pickup.

                      I bought mine new in 1986 in Austin, TX.
