  • Yet another superstrat - Warmoth now

Here's a cool project I just finished. It's a Warmoth Partscaster. The body alder with a 1/4 inch blue quilt dyed top with a nitro finish. The body also has the comfort routes by the neck plate and the back of the lower cutaway. The body was actually finished by Warmoth. The neck is a Warmoth modern construction, 22 fret maple/maple neck with a explorer headstock. I named it and sprayed a lacquer clear coat. Pickups are Breed Neck and Duncan Neck Distortion (Seymourizer) in the bridge. Trem is a Floyd Special and the tuning keys are Sperzels. I traded my red DK2M for the body and a different neck which didn't appeal to me as much as this one. Well enough blabbing, onto some pictures...

Very cool. I want to put together a nice Warmoth teleclone with a TOM.

Have you considered trying a white or cream pick guard?

Not really. Could you do a photoshop mockup? That would be interesting.

Lee is my last name which is why I autographed my guitar. I was gonna do it in Chinese, but I don't really write Chinese well. The white looks cool, but I like the black better.

NICE, hows the profile on the warmoth neck. Is the maple one strat a lot brighter.

Looks fantastic dude ....how is the Floyd Special? I have 2 guitars that need bridges. I’m not sure I wanna spend 2-250$ each so I was looking at those. They seem like the best of the "low cost" bridges...

I hate to be cheap but that shit adds up....
-Now....shut up n play yer guitar

I like the black PG..or white MOP, or Gold like the swiss Blade strats. I would have went with a strat head...but many love that style.

Very nice..I'd be happy with it.

Compared with the Mighty Mite on the partscaster, the neck is wider at the nut (1 11/16) but flatter with shoulders. It's different, but nothing that would change your LH playing style.
