that strat looks to be a mexican standard strat HH. it could be a factory special run. i have had a few FSRs...they are often just limited editions fender puts out to keep things interesting.
    GEAR:

some guitars...WITH STRINGS!!!! most of them have those sticks like on guitar hero....AWESOME!!!!

some amps...they have some glowing bottle like things in them...i think my amps do that modelling thing....COOL, huh?!?!?!

    and finally....

i have those little plastic "chips" used to hit the strings...WHOA!!!!

Whatever it is, it is killer. I can't find the serial anywhere as it is MZ2 + 6-digits, not 5-digits listed on the Fender site.

Cool. The color is unusal, too. The fender humbuckers sound really nice and I love the 5-way super switch.

I for one am glad to see bc rich getting back to their roots with flashy guitars. all that crap of the late 90s-early 2000s was blah, boring death metal beginner styled stuff, and pretty poorly made. seems like the quality is up as well. i cant tell you how many kids asked me why i painted my 87 warlock platinum neon green, and i had to explain that its an 87, it was factory lol. im loving all the guitar manufacturers going back to the eye catching flourescents. ibanez, bc rich, all of em. I suspect by the end of the year well see some kellys king vs and soloists in bright colors. I mean hell, theres already a flourescent pink option on the guitar builder page of the website
Let me tell you about a porcupine's balls.... They're small, and they don't give a shit!

Spot on dude, i'm so sick of black, white is nice but everyone does it. Bring on the bright reds, greens, blues, yellows, orange & outlandish graphics.

I was after a green gunslinger til I stripped my Warlock, now it's getting the neon green treatment, so now i'm keen on a yellow GS.

The reviews on those slingers has been pretty hit or miss since the move to China. Hopefully you got a good one. I almost pulled the trigger on the MIK version.

Rich; the early USA ST-3 and charvel pointy headstock necks were very very similar.

This is the second ST3 I've had. The first one was very similar to a charvel this one isn't.

I pulled the trigger, in a sense, on a MIK 'Slinger when I traded a mint Ibby RG 1550 for the mint Retro Rails. Not a bad guitar, had a great neck but the rest? Just not as good as some of the similarly priced imports I had played. The 22 frets & the f-ed up OFR were the nails in the coffin for that one, though. I'd love to find a 24 fret 'Slinger in neon green. Had a sweet Japanese import version w/ 2 H & a Gotoh but again, the 22 frets killed it for me.

                            That slinger is GREEN!

I dig the strat. Yngwie likes the big headstocks. If the maestro likes them, they're good by me.

I think I would have to chuck the vintage tuners and throw some lockers on there.

Did the ever make a 24 fret gunslinger?
                              Really? well screw Mark Twain.

Yeah, they call it an ASM/ Assassin- Actually, one or two custom shop 'slingers' made it out with 24... saw one in Seattle back in the late 80's/early 90's.
