Jackson/applause link?

I recently refinished an applause brand solid body electric. These were apparently a budget guitar that sold in the 90s. Of course there was no serial or country to be found anywhere on the thing. I haven't done precise measurements but the head is a dead ringer for a Jackson. down to the subtle contours. The only thing I could find that might link it was a reference to the distribution company handling Charvel and Ovation products. Anyone know if one of the over seas companies that made C/J made these?

nope. Just another cheap asian guitar with a Jackson knockoff headstock. Like Vester, Onyx, Series 10, Session, countless others.

I kinda figured. thought maybe one of the Asian manufacturers might have supplied necks. I know those factories do more inbreeding than West Virginia!
