  • I've been had!!!

    Sort of....

Don't know the first thing about these, so any info is great.

In case you can't make out the headstock, it says Ibanez USA.

And yes, as soon as I got home I played Hallowed Be Thy Name on it

    Thanks.

I had one of those - briefly. Rarely-seen-these-days-JCFer-heartfielder got mine - he will know all about this one.

How's the neck? Is it close to the wizard II neck? I love the neck profile of the wizard II's. Congrats!

Yep, nice thin neck. I'm not sure how to tell Wizard I from II. I only have a 1990 RG550 and the profile on this is very similar. Both are thinner than most of my J/C guitars.

Chop Shop is badass, I'll take that over those happy flowery IBZ designs any day. One of these slipped through my fingers several years ago.

Yes but that didn't happen until a few years ago.

you could buy the usa customs in stores...i owned a cosmic swirl 2 for awhile...and yeah the neck profiles are pretty much a dead ringer for an 88 rg 550...thin wide and flat...d.m.
