    Doesn't really do it for me. Headstock is horrid, as we've already discussed. Body shape seems like it is a cross between the regular Rhoads and the Roswell Rhoads. I say pass. Good to see a different model from Grover at least. Now if he could come up with a new headstock design (maybe he should hire Sully ;p)...

      It would look badass with one of those killer Sully headstocks.

        I'm certainly in favor or working for them!

        They've also got the Zora, which is a single cut style.

          I think it's a new looking, class guitar alright, but the headstock is....em....like boutique retro...but not in a good way....kind of in a '80's Hondo kind of way. Kind of like...Bluurrb.

          I think they could have done a sharp fishing hook extension/kick back on the bottom of the headstock with the same line as the bottom horn, kind of the like as is featured on the Dotty V, but sharper, without getting carried away and too Dean or BC Rich on the situation or completely ripping off the V. It would look like a real contender then, rather than not knowing exactly what it wants to be with the headstock/body clash going on and it'd also be great at catching panties too.

          I appreciate that they may have been trying to go slightly retro with the headstock, or understated even...but seriously it's gone all Hondo.

          Headstocks are very important design elements and they say a lot about the charactor of guitar. I love Wayne's headstocks, Old school Charvel with a big bite taken out of them, almost obscuring what they are and origionally represented almost completely. Classic, very metaphoric. I'd love to know who came up with that, simple, looks sharp, new and retro classic at the same time. Very clever I reckon.

          Those Zora/DS/ESP Les Paul junior type guitars are just cartoons in my opinion. They look balanced and all but just way too abstract for me.

          Yeah, I reckon that would work, leave the blunt nose and add a sharp fishing hook.

          Is there a job description for chief critic of guitar headstocks?

          ..Oh look there's Sully's Avatar....I didn't notice that before, back to the day job then I guess.

          You can't really be jealous of something you can't fathom.

            The Zora looks like the PRS Santana and Les Paul had a kid. And I don't mean that in a good way. >_<;

            Much like George Lynch, it appears Grover did some great stuff in the 80's but just can't seem to reach that same level of greatness anymore.

              What was the deal with the giveaway? How wild to see Mick Zane of Malice win the thing and he's even wearing a Malice T-Shirt. What a great band they were. Did anyone else notice our resident JCF'er Brad(XXX) and wife sitting in the 2nd row in that video ?
