Thanks fellas. It was quite the challenging build. Perhaps the most tedious part of it was cutting the binding slot into the aluminum top and headstock. There is no fudging shit there. HEHEHE. Andy, the guy who owns it is a huge Jackson collector. He has the biggest collection I have seen to date.

Mike, can you retro fit an aluminum top on a guitar with bevels (like a RR1) or does it need to be a flat top?

For it to work right, it would need to be a flat top. It would be tough to pull off on say like a Charvel body also, because of the round over at the edge of body. It would need more of a tight radius like the Dinky or an Ibanez to work with out a shit load of changes to the shape and perimeter of the body.
