The next step is....you gotta PISS ON IT after a 3 day drinking binge, so it's good & yellow....with all the hardware on it....just like Chris did.
Then sun dry for 3 days in the So. Cal sun so it gets good & stinky.
Helps kill the germs though....Kahler...Killing guitar values DEAD since 1981.

Did the rest of the destruction tonight..
I set out to make this guitar close to what it was when I first saw it, when it first got its metal frame attached.
It may eventually get to the point where Chris's is today.. but that will come with time
Of course there are differences, mine has a Duncan Blackout Metal, with the dual stage switch mounted under the volume pot, I didn't put the secondary jack plate in, I didnt mount my wireless tramsitter in the lower star (i only got ONE) and its got one of my necks on it.
But i think its a good representation of how it looked back in the day !!!
I milled the stainless steel frets tonight, and did all the wiring, tomorrow I'll cut and polish a bone nut for her, string her up and see how she sounds!
I think this was the first guitar i've ever built where i was not even the slightest bit worried about scratching it during electronics instalation!!!!!

well. she's been assembled and beaten for two weeks now.. I didn't like the B/O Metal without a tone control.. the straight 25K volume pot was too harsh.. so I added a concentric volume /tone pot to it.. MUCH smoother..
This will definately be one of my favorite guitars ever.. its fun, it plays soooo good, (stainless steel frets.. soo yummy) and.. the more i beat it the better it looks!!
I put a cig out on it last night!!!!
i drug it through the yard by a rope the other day!!
I wasn't going to post this here.. heedios playing and dirty shop.. but screw it...

Welcome broseppi Shane. Very amusing stuff and I like the riffs you played in the last one. Sounds like something John Holmes would actually play!!
BTW John Holmes tap tested many things in his day....things of wonderment."Bill, Smoke a Bowl and Crank Van Halen I, Life is better when I do that"
Donnie Swanstrom 01/25/06..miss ya!
"Well, your friend would have Bell's Palsy, which is a facial paralysis, not "Balls Pelsy" like we're joking about here." Toejam's attempt at sensitivity.
