Nice dude, you are sick, heh. Just looking at pics of those it's like you can see the tone. Love the bridge idea.
I also like the idea of the dye and shellac finish. Do the bodies have a slightly rough but at the same time slippery feel to them?
Seems like you can see what they feel and sound like. Like flicking the body with your finger has a nice tap tone.

Those high-end Ibanez are just awesome. What finishes are your Apexes? Did you get one of the textured ones? The 2nd Amendment: America's Original Homeland Defense.

i got 1 of them, it took me years to find the 2nd, then the last 2 kind just kind of popped up on ebay 1 right after the other, and no one bid on them. I was always more of a Bich fan until i got the shorthorn shape mockingbird, IMO they balance and position much better than standard mocks which are horrible.
Funny i had a talk with a local luthier when i was having a guitar refin'd, he said thats the biggest issue w having auto painters do guitars, the thick coats of paint can kill the resonance and kill the tone. he said thicker finishes will dull certain frequencies too. i think thats why my jacksons sound so much tighter and EQ flat, compared to my other guitars. Old BCR finishes were very thin, and their grain filler was applied very thin or just crap.
