22 frets,& a floyd yummmm. the side output jack is pretty cool, not something you see on many fender strats.

That's like... an 80's MIJ Contemporary that was converted for a Floyd, I think. Solid guitars. My first guitar was a 2H Contemporary.

The Weber is a nice unit and works great with the Dr Z. Xeno this strat had the oddball trem that had an adjustment back by the back strap button.I never liked that trem anyway. The floyd is a upgrade IMO. Here is what would have been on it.I think it was called the series III made by Kahler.

That would date 84-87, and yeah it would have had one of the crappy Fender trems on it. That's why I got rid of mine in favor of a Charvel 3A. Even the JT-6 was a nice upgrade from that unit. If both guitars had an OFR, the Fender would have been nicer. Wish I had kept mine.

I had to fix so many of the series trems to make them work I got burned out on them.

you made a good trade. I like those contemporary strats but hated that trem, good upgrade with the Floyd conversion. Weber Mass is a good attenuator too

I only had one with the Series 1 trem, it made an otherwise excellent guitar kinda crappy. It was brand new and had tuning issues. The Charvel, by comparison, was a revelation and it was not all that great either, but definitely better.

Shawn I'm digging the Weber a lot seems to work very well and doesn't suck the tone much if any.
I like the line out feature and tone stack EQ
