    I'm keeping mine chrome, but I do have a "none more black" Kelly. I do like the look, but I've already done it to one guitar.

      I am contemplating ditching the chrome p'up covers as well. They kinda stand out like a sore thumb. Then maybe the toggle switch...

        Is that a maple fretboard or can you darken the rosewood?
        If you could dye it black, it would be awesome.

          Maple? Really? :think: It's rosewood and I don't need it being THAT black.
          I specified the darkest rosewood for my Charvel CS Star a few years back and I didn't find it to be all that much darker...if I was gonna go to that amount of expense and trouble, I'd've sent it out to have an ebony board put on. I got a quote of 1100 to have a rosewood board put on an ebony boarded Cali recently. I happen to love the tonality of rosewood so I can live without that expensive mod.

            Gibson was using baked maple at some point is what I mean.
