yep. but that price isn't too much higher than what fender charges for floyded strats, so add EVH's personal $$$, the $$$ premium for the "exclusivity" of a factory EVH paint job, and you get that MSRP.

I imagine you just deciphered the reason that they disappeared from the website. EVH's people don't miss an auction for anything with his stripe scheme but can't even proof read their own ad type
