It does have a bit of a reverse Ravelle vibe.

Looks like it will be pretty cool Jon.

just an idea for you to ponder..

How about shaping the lower cutout horn in a similar pattern of the end of the bound reverse headstock in your avatar?

Also speaking about carvrd tops....how about a double bound carved strat body, similar thickness to a LPC

It does; I always kinda liked the Ravelle design, but there was always something about them that kept me from getting one; the bodies just seemed a little too small for me, and I think it was mostly due to how they did the lower bout as it comes to the point. When I drew this up over and over, I had to make sure I wasn't doing the same thing

I'll definitely do one with the other 3/3 headstock, though.

        Thanks Shawn!

I tried to come up with a few ways to mirror the hook in the Raven headstock in the body, but never really got anything that worked (and wouldn't be a routing nightmare). Interesting carved strat idea, for sure!

Really unique inlays. Great job with your artistic talents. I've never seen anything like that, and while I'm not thrilled about it, quality of your work looks top notch. I'll rate that as an A+

I dig it, Sulls! And that looks like a REAL nice piece of rosewood.

That headstock works with that body IMO.
                  Keep up the good work!

Yes, Mike Learn will be handling that. Clear on the body, oiled neck, black headstock, black stinger on the back.

Love it! Is that a one-piece body? Set-neck construction?
                                Best of luck with it!
