  • ESP Custom shop quilty SNAG! The one that got away..

4 or 5 years ago, this guitar was for sale at chrisguitars.com and I was broke at the time. I fell in love with it on the spot as purple and quilt are REALLY my thing. Well, guess what popped upon Ebay over the last 2 weeks? I've been wheeling and dealing my a$$ of until we finally closed a deal. She is on her way, can't wait to get her!

That is an exceptional guitar. I have some great fondness for a couple ESP's myself. That one is something else. I'd love to hear what you think of it after it gets plugged in. Kudo's.....

Great looking guitar in an awesome color. I sold my purple Horizon flame top years ago and I've also been looking for it ever since. Maybe one day.........

There is still one ESP Custom out there that has eluded me for 10 years now.. Back in the day, at a Garbage Center in Detroit there was this BAD ASS ESP Custom strat hanging on the wall.. It was the same body and neck as this purple one with a few differences though..
The body was trans green, twp piece-book matched flame (solid) with a H-S-S/Floyd
                    Matching Flame reverse HS
Ebony board with GREEN PEARL skull and cross bone inlay..

This guitar was SO SICK! GC wanted $1300 or $1400 back then and would not budge a dime! I even offered up my ESP M-1 Tiger autographed by Lynch in a trade.. Those ass-hats offended me with an offer of $400 for the M-1 towards the trade of the green flamey Strat..That guitar stayed in their inventory for at least a year before they shipped it off to another GC. I went in that store at least twice a month trying to haggle that axe away from them and it never happened. I've never seen anything like it since.

The seller described the neck profile on this one as a "Demartini Charvel".. That EXCITES me! One of my fav necks out there..
