  • NGD: 2006 USA Kramer '84 - White/Red Bullseye

    This axe oozes 80's rock.

It's pretty straightforward so I won't go into the details of it. The only thing I have to complain about, honestly, is the weak ass Gibson pup. It has no character to it. It might just be my being spoiled to a decade of playing Seymour Duncan pups, but this 84T is gonna get yanked out in favor of a Custom fairly soon. The playability more than makes up for it and I can't wait to swap the pup.

The action is SUPER low, and the neck is nice and thick. It has a soft, oiled feel to it (IMO, very similar to a Music Man neck) with a 12" fretboard radius. German OFR, Schaller tuners. I love the finish on it...can't wait to gig this one.

With the rest of the gang.

Congrats! I always thought they were cool... except for that long dildo headstock.

I have one myself. These beasts are one hell of a machine with the very unknown Kramer 84t which is basically a Gibson 500. This thing will shred for days. IMO, the best release from Musicyo.

Excellent, you got one of the good ones. The first ones were actually made in the USA by John Hill. Those have the chrome hardware. The newer ones with the black hardware are Korean.

You are incorrect on that one. During this time period the "1st's" had chrome. Anything with a blem, even the slighest blem was a 2nd with black hardware...and never made in Korea.

I have one of the seconds with black hardware. The white had yellowed but it gives it a vintage look. I thought they were "assembled" in the USA.
I have seen ebay auctions saying their 84 was a reissue...was there only one run of the 84's or did they have a run with Music Yo and then another after Music Yo?
Regardless, I was suprised at the value for the money.
No honey, I have always had this Jackson....

                              Congrats DRM, nice one.

                              Tell us about the Agile.
Friend of mine wants an LP on a low budget.
I suggested Agile but have never actually played one.
