Beautiful top! I'll bet the semi hollow body makes for some killer clean tones as well.This is what I think of Gibson since 1993.

Its fully hollow except for the bridge area where a piece of wood joins the top and back. The bridge is set into that but the tailpiece isn't. The top and back are about 3/8ths thick, solid wood, no laminates. AFAIK all Roxie's are hollowed out to some extent. This one defintely has more wood removed than my others...its about a pound lighter at 8.8 lbs. (Yeah, Roxies are heavy.)
