Thanks bud! I am happy with it so far i just have my doubts about the fretboard being glued down correctly. I have a feeling i may need to do it again. Once i can get strings on i will tune it up and play it unplugged for a month or so as a test.

Im not giving up tho, I ordered two 500mm truss rods for another similar build but with 30 frets. I lso have the whole note fretboard ready for something.

\This step went well imo. The wings went on very nicely. Now i just need to do a lot of shaping and sanding to get it all good.

Awesome work bro!! I can't wait to see it when it's done! You should post some video and let us hear it as well!
This is what I think of Gibson since 1993. I HATE BEING LEFT HANDED! I rock out to Baby metal because Wilkinsi said I can't listen to Rick Astley anymore.

Still got my attention. Looking good.
I want to go out nice and peaceful in my sleep like my grandfather, not screaming and hollering like the passengers in his car.

Haaa oh good man, You will need to be patient! Early signs indicate all my planning and asking other builders advice has payed off. It seems to balance well for such a mamoth neck and upper fret access is great. It';s never going to be perfect but for a first build i think i have done ok regardless of if it plays good haha

I am finidng it a bit hard to replicate that carvin/jackson soloist heel look but i think im slowly getting it. In the next few days i will take some good pics with a hi res camera.

                    • Heel is pretty much where i want it. I have recessed the bridge now.

I also have managed to order some ibanez rg550xh preamp neck simulators, So i am back to the drawing board with the pickups/placements. I was thinking two singles would look nice and uncluttered in there.

A few nicer quality pics for you guys.
