For GF? As long as you are willing to put some elbow grease into it, the parts aren't bad.

      Can't speak for KNE.

A couple members have use KNE bodies and neck before. If I remember someone got a Fusion neck with a strat headstock from them.

I have a KNE body, top notch work and Mitch is a good guy to deal with.
I feel festive all year round. Deal with it.

                The bodies are rough.
Looks like they were hand routed with a spoon.

Holy crap that looks awful. For God's sake people don't drink and route.

You think that's bad, look at some of the painted bodies.
Judging by their pics, the drunk Floyd route is a template... or they were all done by the same drunk.

My 10 year old with a can of Krylon could do a better job.
And she would at least be smart enough to sand and prep first. (Daddy taught her well)

This star is an older KnE and its an alder body.
The guys at RSguitarworks that prepped and painted it said it was two piece right down the center and a nice clear piece of alder.
I would stay away from GFS for anything.YMMV.

I was actually more curious about the necks. Wow those bodies look horrendous. I could do a better job with hand tremors lol
