  • Washburn Scott Ian sig guitars.

I recently got a Jackson JJ2 which plays fantastic. Getting that one has got me thinking about the Washburn sigs, anyone got one. How are they compared to the JJ2?

The ones I've played were the imports and they played about the same as the Import JJ. The one that looks beat to shit and has a phenolic fingerboard called the weapon. I liked it but was too late to snag one local for cheap.
    It's pronounced soops

Never played one of the Washburn but I own the Scott Ian T-1000 Soloist and it is absolutely badass but I just don't care for the inlays. I also have a JJ7 and it is really cool if dig 7 strings.
I like black and white guitars

Not into 7 or 8 strings but that T-1000 looks completely badass, especially the 1H.

The T-1000 is really badass. I just wish it had a blank ebony board at then it would a keeper. The fret inlays allows it to be on the trading block. The 1 humbucker with larger body and very little wood removed for cavities make it a tone monster. Plus gotta love the raw oiled neck also. It is a well thought out machine. Just don't dig the inlays much.

Now the JJ7 is neckthrough with blank ebony board and floyd rose. It is a nice guitar and is my only 7 string. That is why I got it, I wanted to try one out and I am almost completely satisfied with it. It has a few minor cosmetic things like the headstock shape and headstock inlay being in abalone instead of MOP, just looks off with black scheme having the abalone colors on the headstock. Thought about finding a white logo and trying to cover it up but... not sure if that can be done or not.

I found it in a image search. Sick guitar. I like the logo, looks high end. I remember a ngd thread not to long ago.
