  • BC Rich Gunslingers Natural Oil

    Hey guys

I've begun to consider getting a new guitar and right now its between the ESP Horizon in DBSB with a Floyd, a Jackson SL2H-V or potentially one of these BC Richs:
Explore a diverse selection of BC Rich guitars, known for their innovative design and exceptional sound quality. Perfect for any level of player.

I have never properly tried a Gunslinger let alone a USA BC Rich. Can you guys please try and paint me a picture of how the guitar plays compared to a Soloist or maybe even a Charvel strat?

    Thanks

having had an original gunslinger from the 80s, along with access to a few of the more recent handmades, I would go for that gunslinger. the price kills and the guitar itself would be pretty damn awesome from my experience.
    GEAR:

some guitars...WITH STRINGS!!!! most of them have those sticks like on guitar hero....AWESOME!!!!

some amps...they have some glowing bottle like things in them...i think my amps do that modelling thing....COOL, huh?!?!?!

    and finally....

i have those little plastic "chips" used to hit the strings...WHOA!!!!

markD: How does the neck compare in feel/shape to a Charvel Strat/Jackson Soloist?

        thanks

my original from the 80s had a neck VERY much like a san dimas charvel. it has been about 8 years since I sold it, so I don't remember exact specs. I just remember it was REALLY comfortable and easy to play.

It says it's got a maple fretboard. Looks like rosewood to me.

Oh, I see. Just checked the whole list and saw the one with maple.

To me, slingers should have flashy graphics or colors. They may well be nice players, though. An oiled mock or bich might be OK.

The 80's USA gunslingers I would put on par with the 80's USA Charvels.
                    Necks are similar in feel.
The newer Korean and Chinese ones aren't even close.Still decent guitars for the money.

for what the originals from the 80's sell for I'de say they are a safer bet.
