This guitar was at my local Guitar Center. I have never seen a guitar in a music store this screwed up from the factory. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves.
Yeah, it's a bolt-on. It so far off, nothing short of filling and redrilling the neck holes is going to fix it. Even then I don't know if the neck pocket on the body will allow it to mount correctly.
I'm thinking its the bridge. Not that it matters cuz no one in their right mind would buy it in that condition.
You're probably right, bridge mounted too far over on the bass side. That thing has been sitting there for weeks. I get a laugh out of it every time I see it. I can't believe they even put it out for sale.
I'm not familiar with tunomatic bridges. Is it possible the bridge isn't mounted on its posts correctly? Because the neck looks right in relation to the neck pickup.
Amazing. There is no way they are going to get that to line up with a neck pocket shift with out leaving a hideous gap on the bass side. Wow....I can not believe they are even trying to sell that there.
Could be the angle of the pic but it looks like the bridge pickup and bridge are routed further to the left of the neck pickup and neck pocket. Zoom in on the first pic and look closely.
