Just had a quick go on it, needs new strings, set up isn't all that bad out of the box. Frets feel ok, no sharp bits. The pickup doesnt seem all that bad, might change it. need a few more hours with it. Neck feels different, not bad - dont know how to describe it, feels wide but flat.

I definitely think the pickup needs changing, it doesn't sound bad, just not what I'm after, its a bit honky. New pot and pickup order tomorrow i think. I was either going to go with a super distortion or a nailbomb

where are these guitars made?

The current ones are made in China and can be had in the US for $250. Not sure of my quid exchange rate

The Korean ones are much better than the Chinese ones.
I just did an up grade on one and the customer loved it.
CTS/RS 560k volume pot small treble bleed A frame cap set up and the Rockfield pick up sounds very good now.
Roll the volume back and it takes a bit of the high end away and leaves nice thick sound.
Good score on the BCR.

The prices on these have gone up a lot in the last couple of years since I last bought some, but they are my favorite tuners...
