  • Long lost friends, sweet homecomings...

Yes, we've all had this happen. You sell a guitar, and the minute it leaves your hands, you know it wasn't the best decision.

But how sweet it is when they "come back home"! That was the case with this Ibanez K7. I think it went through at least 2 if not 3 new owners since I sold it about 2 years ago. But she's home now, and minus a little "character work", not much worse for wear. This one was the best player of all the KoRn signature Ibby's I've had. Still is!

    Glad she's back! Now...if I can just find a Blade Gray K7...

I will never sell my guitars - don't wanna miss 'em.
8 strings? Because 6 is too easy?

Nice. I've always liked the looks of those K7s. How do those DiMarzio PAF7 pups sound?

I like them quite a bit for low tuning. They are mid-output, so they maintain some clarity but still have some punch. I don't care for hot pickups in 7's as they just make things kinda muddy/flubby. Yuck.

This K7 was one I used to own, and it STILL sounds the best of my 7's. I hope I will stumble across my Blade Gray one too...
