Project Guitar: Peavey Predator Plus EXP

Hey guys,

I bought this cheap Peavey Predator Plus EXP as project to test my skills on before I attempt any work on my black SL2H.

I was basically going for a Purple Snakeskin look, I think it turned out OK.

Some of the things I did to it.

• Leveled frets
• Sanded down the heel of the neck to have a tighter fit against the body
• Tinted the fretboard with an ebony stain
• Cleaned up the electronics
• Upgraded the pickups SD PATB-2/Jazz
• The setup is now pretty much perfect!
• Painted body/matching headstock

What do you guys think? It was my first time, so there's definitely some mistakes I can point out, but I won't :P

looks pretty good. I think I would have "angled" the snakeskin a bit so it didn't look quite as much like a grid pattern but overall nice work bud.

I would have added some black here and there to make a more realistic pattern.
