I'm not sure what I'm going to do with mine. Maybe just roll it but....I'm sure I'm going to love playing it but will be embarrassed to play it live. I'm in a metal band and all....but...the blood is a bit much. I guess its not that bad....shit, at least my wife likes it. Maybe a trip to Learn? Lets see. Mine ended up costing 383$ shipped to Canada.....Kinda stoked to play this thing now...blood and all...-Now....shut up n play yer guitar

Well it shipped which is cool! Then I started thinking (after the fact of course, fuckin dummy) Has anyone from Canada ordered a guitars from Musicians Friend? So I pay duty+HST+GST right? Forgot about that part...what's duty on 299?...Does anyone know where these are made? China? Japan? I think that might affect duty right? I should have read the fine print....fml....meh. I'm thinking 60-70 bucks total....using some online tools...who knows if they are accurate....Last edited by dvscool; 06-27-2013, 02:28 PM.-Now....shut up n play yer guitar

Quick review: Freaking excellent guitar. Amazing setup right out of the box. I own over 100 guitars and this is the first guitar I have ever received that was setup 100% perfect right out of the box. I always have to adjust trussrods, Floyd angle, string height and usually modify the nut height down for super low 1st fret action. Everything was super low action perfect right out of the box. Trussrod adjustment was perfect, Floyd was perfectly level, string height crazy low and shredworthy with zero buzz anywhere whatsoever.
The ebony fingerboard is super nice smooth shiny black, no streaks. The neck thickness, shape and width is identical to the thin profile option on a USA Jackson neck-thru. This thing feels exactly like a USA Jackson neck-thru. The graphic and finish are excellent. I see no flaws whatsoever. They used red side dot markers which is a cool little feature. The only thing I could bitch about, and this is a personal opinion thing, is the red abalone binding around the body and headstock looks a little cheesy. I wish they had done that in black.
In all, 110% satisfied. I hope you guys got in on this deal. Post 'em up when you get 'em !
