With these newer style EMG logos, there is hardly any difference between the gold on the 85 and the silver on the 81. The difference doesn't show up in the pics. It does have the 81/85 combo.

Jinxx Rich Bich just arrived, too busy at work to even unbox it now. Will post up pics later this afternoon.

Ah, I see. You should put the 85 in the bridge and the 81 in the neck anyway! Always thought the 85 was the better bridge pickup.

Quick info on the Bich. Another excellent high quality guitar. The neck thickness is just a tiny bit thicker than the Jordison Warlock, pretty much identical to a USA Jackson SL-1/SL-2. Another perfect ebony fingerboard, smooth and shiny with no streaks. This one did come with 2 EMG81's. Trussrod adjustment was perfect, Floyd level was perfect, nut height is fine for 95% but I'm super anal about that and will lower it a hair. The finish is 100% perfect, super high quality. The top is nicely arched and I was surprised to find some nice cream binding added to the arched top. The paint is really cool as the white is a nice pearl color instead of appliance white. This one is 24 fret and they were able to put the neck pickup up against the fingerboard. I like that there really isn't much in the way of Black Veil Brides logos. If you look at the pics as advertised, they had just one BVB's "BVB" logo at the 12th fret. I had noticed that some of the real pics(not BC Rich ads) had different inlays with additional inlays at the 3/4/7/9th frets too. I like this inlay much better. It is a BVB's logo off the 1st CD but nobody is going to know that. It basically looks like a snowflaked star.

Once again, super happy. I hope somebody here got in on this one too.

            Nice!
            Congratulations.
Arch top and binding look great on it.

Sweet! Congrats. I think I like the Bich better than the Warlock.

I'm not sure which I like better yet. The neck feel/width is just a tiny bit different between the two. The thing that really strikes me on these is just how much they feel exactly like a 80's/90's USA neck-thru Jackson. The neck shape, the binding, the ebony boards, the frets and fretwork, it just feels like a USA Jackson. I have other neck-thru and set-neck World Guitars Korea guitars and they each have their own unique personality. These feels exactly like USA Jackson neck-thrus.

I'm so pissed I wasn't able to to snag a Rich in that config, for that price.

After mulling it over for 24 hours, I'm kinda glad I didn't know about the sale- that Jordison Warlock and the Jinxx Bich look very fucking cool but the thought of gigging out with some dude's sig guitar with the paint and fret inlays being what they are, wouldn't sit well with me. Maybe it's a pride thing. As a player, I certainly don't rate being above using someone's sig guitar. It's still a principle thing: I can't bring myself to gig out (and what's the point of owning an ax if you can't gig it?) someone else's ax. I've flipped several guitars despite the fact that they looked, played and sounded great, just because they were sig models. Bought 'em because of GAS, flipped 'em out of principle.

You know, I kind of agree with you. I generally don't like signature guitars for the same reasons you listed. For example, can you imagine gigging with one of the Trivium signature models ????.......uggghh ! I will admit to having a USA Charvel EVH guitar and a Warren DeMartini blood skull model but I only bought both of those because I got killer deals on them. At least on these BC Rich's, 99.9% of the people out there will have no clue they are signatures models. Hell, I didn't even know who the Murderdolls were and maybe only 1 person in 100,000 will know what that 12th fret inlay is. That's obscure enough for me to not consider it as much of a "sig guitar". Originally I was not going to buy the Jinxx Rich Bich because of the Black Veil Brides "BVB" logo at the 12th fret in all the advertisements. After looking at pics on the internet, I noticed the real guitars mostly having the more obscure snowflaked star logo instead and also having those logos on extra frets. I actually called Musicians Friend and had them email the warehouse(in Kansas City) and email me back with what inlays were on the guitar. That was the deciding factor for me. Almost nobody is going to look at those inlays and associate them with a person or band. Only a hard core BVB's fan would know. Once again, that's obscure enough to make me feel good about the purchase.

Flowery pentagram inlays? And I thought I didn't like the KBRR inlays!

LOL. Like I said, nobody would figure out that inlay. It's weird that they used that symbol on this guitar. BVB's only used that symbol on their 1st CD. You have to look at it really hard but if you take a "B" a "V" and another "B", lay them at weird angles and do it 5 times, you get that symbol which looks just likes like a star with a flower design around it. I kind of like BVB's anyway, with their Kiss meets Motley Crue thing.

Cool. I still love my Alex Wade LTD 7-string that's from World Guitars. Definitely great quality!

LOL! I owned a Dean Trivium/Matt Heafy Sig Rising Sun ML for the same reasons- GAS, cool features and a great deal. But while I agree that 99.9% of the folks out there wouldn't know who the fuck Trivium was, it was MY issue with being a walking billboard for some band that frankly, I just didn't think was all that. I guess it boils down to pride when it really ain't warranted/justified.
