Well, I got mine. I was pretty unhappy. The bag that holds the allan keys came open during transit. Seriously, how hard is it to close a fuckin zip lock bag? Like, how the fuck can that happen? So I have a few small marks. On the back and the bottom. You would have to look for them, but they are there. There are some other minor imperfections on the guitar, and especially the binding. The fret board. It doesn’t look great to me. This guitar is not anything like the description I had been reading here (that’s not a shot). I was expecting close to perfection. If I had the option to send it back I would. Sending it back isn't really an option for me (from Canada)...not really.

The guitar was unplayable out of the box. The high E was choking out too bad. The whole guitar was buzzing horribly.

After giving it a half-assed set up (tweaking the neck, the Floyd, and tuning it) I will say, the quality of the guitar does start to show, and the setup is not perfect. It’s about 75%. By the end of the week it should be 100%. After playing it for about an hour, it’s obvious its a great guitar. It’s certainly shred worthy. I expect I'm going to love it the more I play it.

I think the guitar was "grumpy" from being shipped. It needs to chill. Get some love.

Still, I can’t help but be somewhat disappointed. I’m not sure what Musiciansfriend would do for me, if anything. I certainly can’t see myself buying another guitar from there.

Sorry to hear. It won't hurt to give Musicians Friend a call. Tell them about all the problems, maybe they will give you a partial refund. Mine is amazing. I can't get over how good it was straight out of the box.

That's EXACTLY what I was expecting ! But, Its close to being dialed in now, and I definitely can shred on it. I will contact them tomorrow and see what they say. It is what it is. I'm not one to dwell on shit....The bonus is I'm not hating on the blood like I thought I might....

i have no complaints with mine. {aside from the looks}. it was just to good to pass up. mine has 1 small smudge in the binding, and 1 small smudge on the fretboard. aside from that i have no complaints. someone already offered to buy it off me {a former esp endorsee}. i dont think id ever play out with it, but for 300$ it was a good deal..... thank you to whoever posted the link that day. dave

Yeah they can't all be perfect. You know what, its a great guitar and I got it at a great price. There is nothing really wrong with it and after playing it for several hours last night, I really have nothing but good things to say about it. So, its not perfect, meh. Its still in better condition then any guitar I own, and plays as good or better then anything I own. Plus I'm Canadian and we don't complain.....much...Its a done deal and I have zero regrets....Lepard, thanks for posting this!

I'm still struggling with if I can gig with this axe or not. I'm just not sure about the blood. I don't hate it...but it certainly can come across as cheese. The other custom markings on the guitar are not even noticeable. They don't bother my in the least. I'm wondering, has anyone ever used....like a body decal/glove/wrap (whatever) or something? To cover the entire front? I mean if its the difference of using giging it and not, it might be an option? I have no idea, but they must be out there..... Mind you I wouldn't want it permanent.....anyone?................Bueller?..... .Bueller............Bueller.......

Added bonus, I uh........... "acquired" the last Murderdolls CD, Women and Children Last, and it's pretty damn good. Thoroughly enjoying that CD. It's like Rob Zombie meets an Industial Metal band like Dope, meets Motley Crue(think Shout at the Devil era). Their 1st CD from back in 2002 was a mixed bag but Women and Children Last is really, really good.

My band is pretty fuckin heavy. I think I'm using it as is....leaving it....gonna play the fuck out of it....that's that....blood stays lol
