Hey Guys,

I have not been on for a while but thought I would post some pics of my Learn custom. I know this is The USA Jackson forum but considering Mike has ties with Jackson and this guitar is built on the soloist platform I thought it would be acceptable to post here. The guitar is all maple, ebony board, black binding, brass big block and I supplied my own 18 volt Seymour Duncan Heavy Metal Live Wire pickup. It has a 16-20 radius and is uses Mike's new direct pickup mount system. She is heavy as hell and she plays and sounds fucking amazing!!!!!

I remember seeing the progress pics of the guitar when Mike posted them up on Facebook. I said it looks like it could be a cover of a Manowar album. It is a badass guitar though. Congrats.

Thanks for all the nice comments. I know there are a lot of mixed feelings about their music... It is what it is but I just love the Boris artwork...not to say I don't dig ManOWar but this is not meant to be a tribute guitar or anything I just love the art work. This guitar is killer it makes my Kami and Soloist seem a little lack luster I have to say...

Thanks for your continued support and business. This guitar is the culmination of my 3 decades as an artist and builder. It is always interesting getting a custom order for something I have not done in these years. An all Maple neck thru was a first. It is weighty, but man does that guitar sing!!! I am happy to hear the excitement in your words. Rock on!!!!!

Thank you for the awesome work and the thing I love is you are so hands on. We talked personally many times via phone about the build. You made sure I got what I wanted. I can't think of anywhere else you can get the kind of personal service and expertise that you provide. This guitar is as well or better built than any other guitar I have owned. You treated me just as you would have any of your big name clients and I appreciate that. Thanks Again!
