So I have a guy selling one of these. Haven't done any research on them. Whats a good price and how are they quality wise? Been jonesing for a real LP but they are always out of my price range. The one I played seemed to play great and not real dings or issues. Seemed completely stock too.

I'm not sure on a good price, I'm not a Gibson guy at all. I will say though that if you haven't yet, and can, sit down and really play it for a while. I had a buddy that got one that wouldn't stay in tune through one song. Got it checked out by a guy here that's been working on guitars for about 50 years and everything was fine, still wouldn't stay in tune for an entire song. He returned it and got another one, same problem, then a 3rd one, same problem, finally on the 4th one it was rock steady. I've met 4 or 5 other people that have had the same problem. I know it's a very small number but just thought I'd throw that out there. My Toys:

Most tuning issues are related to the nut not being cut properly and the bridge saddles with sharp edges causing string breakage.
Get those things fixed it should stay in tune just fine.
Winding the strings on the post properly is a key thing too.Really? well screw Mark Twain.
