Later Charvettes were plywood bodies with rosewood boarded maple necks. Everything I've read about those necks leads me to believe that they were outstanding.

My first real guitar back in '86 or '87 was a Kramer 600ST. It was plywood and sounded pretty decent. I did replace the pickup with a DiMarzio X2N and the cheap Floyd II single-locking trem to a real Floyd and used it for close to 10 years with no problems. I still have it, but I gutted it and let it collect dust since the Floyd wood screw posts have moved forward.I feel my soul go cold... only the dead are smiling.

Too heavy to be ply wood? Nope ply wood guitars are heavy as hell.
Take a pic of the trem cavity(with the cover off) and post it and we should be able to see if its plywood.Really? well screw Mark Twain.

I knew rogues were shit beginner guitars, but this is different. 3pc maple neck with rosewood board. has there been guitars made with maple and rosewood with a plywood/particle board bodies?
