I have a PRS Single cut 245SE. I have always hated the weight of a Gibson LP, so this was refreshing with its extra cutaway on the lower horn and lightweight body. The one piece bridge is super comfortable, and only one vol and tone, two fries my head, so i set out to see if i could make it a tone monster. After polishing the frets with 3000 grade emery boards, fitting WCR Moore Green Pickups and electrics - in phase, not out as they are supplied, as Neil Murray (Bass) rewired Garys Greeny guitar around 1980, it was the Moore tone I was after. A string change to EB 11's and the neck and action reset, which went very low and buzz free, has given me what I feel is the best Les paul i have every played, ticks all the boxes, and tone is real moody, sustain immense etc. So if your in the mood to add a 59 sounding les paul to your collection that wont make you stoop lol, or cost a fortune, I do recommend
