Ha, yes I agree with pretty much everything everyone has said here! And although the Moderne is a "classic" Gibson historical shape, I've always thought it was just awful - like a '60s vision of the future (think rocket cars with fins, spaceships with wings etc).

Nothing is hard to believe when it comes to Henry the ass hat. Just another "Winner" by a company with poor leadership and a major lack of vision IMO.

Hey..at least Zakk choose the moderne...a design that at least some people might like...no idea who but I'm sure some do....he could have chosen the corvus!

I'm still waiting on 2 more. I was one of the lucky ones that actually got one. It was a complete piece of $hit, made in China, obviously a factory 2nd, horrible frets that felt like they had been dragged behind a truck. I did a complete fretjob and promptly sold it.

I remember at least one other guy here got one. I thought he said his was halfway decent, though.

I still have like 3 or 4 of those damn plastic choppers and 3 or 4 shirts and sweat shirts. I got everything but my MP3 players and... Oh yeah, those guitars! Assholes! And they were "giving" away all 3 versions. The buzz saw, the camo, and the bullseye.

You know what's funny. I was doing some cleaning up of my shop last week and came across 2 of those plastic bikes still new in the box. I thought about doing something creative with them but just tossed them in the trash. Hell, I almost took one with me to a Black Label Society Concert once to throw up on stage. Didn't quite work up the balls to do that, would have been funny(or I would have gotten my ass beat).
