Oh shit, that's insane. Should put the tuners on top so you can cut lunch while you're playing

As per usual awesome work Stray! I'll bet that thing will play like a dream when it's done bro!
This is what I think of Gibson since 1993. I HATE BEING LEFT HANDED! I rock out to Baby metal because Wilkinsi said I can't listen to Rick Astley anymore.

Thanks Lefty but still a bit away from where I want it.
The wiring gives me one or the other pick up so have to figure a way to have both on at the same time maybe swap out the kill switch for a 3way mini switch and use the push pull for splitting the coils.
Still have some nut shelf work to go too.
It plays nice just the way it is but I'm picky and want it perfect.

Looks killer, love that headstock. What kind of fretboard is that?
It's all about the blues-rock chatter.

That is rather sweet. Digging the headstock. May I ask what is the extra cavity cover is for?
I like black and white guitars

The front cover is where the vol used to be so plugged it and moved it back to the other cavity.
Fingerboard is spalted maple looks like to me.
              The body is mahogany.

                Wow!!! That's cool stray.
I want to go out nice and peaceful in my sleep like my grandfather, not screaming and hollering like the passengers in his car.

Have spent some serious time with it now and it just gets better and better.
Love the neck profile and flatter radius too.it has made me improve my fretting technique as well.
Very comfortable to play for long periods of time which has been a big plus.
Probably swap pick ups next string change and install an rsguitarworks super pot but over all a really nice guitar.

If you are in the market for something like this give Darkside a PM.

Looks sweet. For the push pull. Try this I assume you have the center lugs to volume pot and each pickup going to the opposite ends. I don't have one in front of me to test this but it should work. Instead of neck pickup to lower tabs run it to center and run a wire to the bottom tab on one side and ground the other one. hopefully that would ground the pickup in the down position and only give you the bridge pup then pull up it should give you both. Lemme know if it works.

Installed the RS super pot (540 k) and put the Guitarhead hexbuckers back in. Removed the kill switch and installed a 3 way mini toggle in the housing of the kill switch. The push pull wasn't doing the job and iffy at best. The RS pot made all the difference in the world and the hexbuckers kick ass in this guitar. The sweep of the push pull pot was terrible and it had to come out.
Thought it wold be cool to gut the kill switch and use the insert to lower the length of the toggle to keep it out of the way of the vol knob.Worked out really well each are very easy to operate.
