I only have a couple of ESPees, but both are fantastic. My favorites are the really old ones with Jackson headstocks. I'd like to score a Lynch sig Kami or Purple Tiger.

I have no interest in LTD's at all, or their LP copies.

It looks like Schecter is on the move too with their USA Custom Shop. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d1OQxkeHZe0

They have some cool models out at some dealers already. I never really thought about them before but they have definitely caught my eye.

It's very impressive, if not a bit in bad taste. A bloody dog tag on the headstock? I have a feeling the "No More War" slogan was added as an afterthought when some ESP exec realized just how tasteless it is. It's out of place with the rest of the theme (which seems to suggest war kicks ass!)

I personally think it's hideous. But from craftsmanship, creativity, artistic, quality, etc. viewpoints......it's amazing.

One quick question guys... What do you think the price tag on that thing would be?
This is what I think of Gibson since 1993. I HATE BEING LEFT HANDED! I rock out to Baby metal because Wilkinsi said I can't listen to Rick Astley anymore.

I'd guess more in the $8K to $10K range street price.

With ESP and their USA shop opening, Jackson really needs to look closely at what they're doing and where they're going before it's chosen for them
                    This /\

Gotta admire the craftsmanship and creativity that went in to that ESP. Wouldn't want to play it or own it but the artistry is impressive.
I seriously hope J/C gets the message and start bringing their A game. Just heard that in addition to the ESP USA Custom shop opening, now Schecter has expanded it's USA custom shop. ESP owns Schecter, though they are separate entities. IIRC.

J/C needs to get their shit together no doubt about that.
I only buy/want the old ones from a time they really did make a great guitar.
The ESP one in the vid is tasteless sorry but thats how I feel about that.
                      Really? well screw Mark Twain.

It's probably more of a Japanese thing.
The intent of the phrase is most likely different. (Like when you see someone tattoo kanji on themselves and you have no idea WTF its trying to say, but it isn't quite correct.)

I think the 'No More War' thing is fitting. Ever see Full Metal Jacket, Joker with the Peace sign? Just about every combat soldier I know had stupid things like that written somewhere. On their cover, helmet, rifle, shirt, body and notebook. Its very appropriate.
