Hey everyone! Its been a crazy year, and because of that I haven't been around much. In the last year my daughter was born (1st child) I had to move all my gear from the room where it was, so it could become the nursery, and build my new studio in the basement. Which was the plan from the beginning. Well the studio isn't 100 percent complete but close. I was able to grab some cool pieces in that time as well, and thought I'd finally share with you.

First I got my daughter when she was born a birth year Les Paul Custom, because everyone should have a birth year custom! This one I don't play. It's for her. I bring it out and we play it together. She loves it.

Then I was up late taking care of her one night and made a crazy low ball offer on a Dean Double neck V and got it! I always wanted a double neck so what the hell. Its actually a blast to play, and the quality is pretty nice too.

I've been going back and forth on a Driskill for years now. Always wishing I could get my hands on one. Well one came up and I grabbed it, and I am so glad I did. What an awesome instrument. It fits me like a glove.

"I leave off the back plate and pinch my forskin between the tension springs. That may not work for everyone. But I find that the people love it. Half the tone is in the pud." - Bill Z

Then another Driskill came up, but this one had a trem. I had to have it. One piece Tiger quilt maple top, Brazilian rosewood neck, simply the finest guitar I've ever played. It just plays itself.

Then I finally got a hold of one that slipped away from me a long time ago. Back in 1992 I was living in Hollywood trying to make my shot, and working as commercial dive boat tender. When my boat sunk and I lost everything. I had to sell my ESP custom explorer. This one isn't a 1992 but its damn close. Thank you Jason for this one.

Yeah, some very nice stuff there!!
Popular is not the same as good
Rare is not the same as valuable

I got this little Taylor GC6 in Phoenix while I was working down there. Great tone. Awesome short scale. Cuts through the mix fantastic.

And finally, I found a birthyear Les Paul Custom for myself. 1971 Les Paul Custom. Not 100 percent. Need to change out the knobs, tuners, bridge, tailpiece, and pickup covers, But shes got great tone and the neck feels like butter.

I have a birth year Les Paul standard and a birth year Fender Tele as well 1976! HNG'SD!!!!!! By the way love the tops and inlays on those Driskill's!!
This is what I think of Gibson since 1993. I HATE BEING LEFT HANDED! I rock out to Baby metal because Wilkinsi said I can't listen to Rick Astley anymore.

I do believe it's the import Mustaine sig model.

Yeah it is. I think it was music farm had a limited run of white ones. Ten or something. They weren't selling so I sent them a pretty lowball offer thinking no way they would take it, and hell if they didn't. It's fun. Not a big fan of the Mustaine Livewires, but other than that a nice player. Heavy as hell though.
