Thanks. You know, several years ago I decided I needed more tonal diversity. I had 12-15 Jackson's and, for the most part, the tones were very similar. Yeah you can change pickups, but that only gets you so far. At least for me it does. It was then when I weeded out my duplicates, kept my favorites (KV1's), and sold the rest. Then I started putting together some new sounds, and new feels. Honestly, there isn't a new Jackson I would purchase, and unless things change dramatically, I won't order another custom shop piece. There are a couple other specific used ones I am on the lookout for, but they might take awhile to find, and that's ok, sometimes the fun is in the hunt.

Congratulations on your daughter. My four year old (she turns 5 next month) is my pride and joy.

          Nice guitars too

My wife doesn't like when I buy guitars . . . she thinks I have enough. But this birth-year deal is gold! My daughter was born in 2008, son in 2013, 1972 for myself and what the heck, let's grab a '77 for the ol' ball and chain, too! I'm off to shop with my new built-in excuse . . .

Congrats on the sharp guitars and first youngin.

I don't care for any of the guitars, but I love that tiger quilt maple top I'm off to find some toffee cake...

Very nice group you picked up. I like the birth year deal too. Being born in 69' I'd rather use that one for a car though.

And thanks guys. The LP's have been a blast. Well the '71 has. The other one I don't play. My goal to really change things up has worked. I have a very interesting group now to choose from.
